The Coolbaugh Township Board of Supervisors, November 21, 2005 Special Meeting was held in the Township Municipal Center, in building #3, at 5550 Memorial Boulevard, Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania. 

Call To Order 

Mr. Frutchey called the meeting to order at approximately 8:29 p.m.

Roll Call 

Supervisors present for the meeting included: James H. Frutchey, Jr., Gratz Washenik and Robert M. Zito. Robert B. Hutchins and Richard R. Lockwood were absent. Also in attendance were Township Secretary Linda Frutchey and Township Treasurer Patrica A. Eden..  

Statement on the Agenda:  The Public will be given an opportunity to speak on each agenda matter.  Public Input is considered at the end of the meeting for other issues. 

Authorization to advertise - Notice - Open for Public Inspection - Coolbaugh Township 2006 Proposed Budget 

Mr. Zito made a motion to authorize the Township Secretary to advertise the notice that the Coolbaugh Township 2006 Proposed Budget is open for public inspection. Seconded by Mr. Frutchey. Discussion followed in which Mr. Washenik said that given the opportunity to take advantage of the EMS tax on workers from outside the township and save the residents of Coolbaugh approximately $250,000.00, he could not in good conscience vote for this tentative budget. The motion was called and did not carry 2-1-0 (Mr. Washenik opposed).

Board of Supervisors Executive Sessions 

Mr. Frutchey announced that the Supervisors held an Executive Session on Tuesday, October 26, 2005 at 5:30 p.m. re: Pending Litigation. No subsequent Executive Sessions were presently scheduled.
