VACANCIES ON BOARDS, COMMISSIONS AND COUNCILS

Coolbaugh Township residents interested in serving in the following positions should send a letter of interest by Friday, December 29, 2009 to the Coolbaugh Township Board of Supervisors, 5550 Memorial Boulevard, Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania 18466.

The Building Code Board of Appeals has 3 terms expiring 12/31/2010. The Board of Auditors has 1 term expiring 12/13/2011. The Parks and Recreation Commission has 1 term expiring 12/31/2014. The Planning Commission has 2 terms expiring 12/31/2013. The Zoning Hearing Board has 1 term expiring 12/31/2012 and 1 Alternate ZHB member has a term expiring 12/31/2012. The Environmental Advisory Council has 2 terms expiring 12/31/2014. The Coolbaugh Township Community Partnership Advisory Commission has 3 terms expiring 12/31/2012. The Pocono Mountain Library Board of Trustees has 1 term expiring 12/31/2012. Annual appointments are made for 1 or 2 positions on the Pocono Mountain Regional Police Commission and 1 position as Vacancy Board Chairman.

Appointments to the various positions may be made by the Township Board of Supervisors at their Re-Organizational Meeting on Monday, January 4, 2010.
